Calathea Concinna Freddie / Prayer Plant- Indoor Plant

The Prayer Plant belongs to the family of Calatheas. Like many of its sisters, these plants thrive in high humidity, making it a good choice for adding color to your bath. Its large green striped leaves accented in pink fold together at night and remind some of hands folded in prayer – the explanation for its common name.

A slow grower, the Prayer Plant will spread horizontally along a counter or tabletop. Place it in a spot protected from direct sun. For best results, keep this hardy plant’s soil relatively moist.
