Made by hand on the potters wheel and glazed with food safe glazes. It is made with a dark brown clay glazed white, leaving some of the clay exposed, including the rim. Then brushed over with a speckled glaze. The final product is sanded on the rim and the bottom leaving the appearance of texture but smooth to the touch.
These cups measure around 3 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide with handle, with a 3 inch opening. They hold approx. 8 ounces.
Microwave and dishwasher safe although hand washing is preferred.
