Wild Banana / White Bird of Paradise - Large Indoor Plant

Commonly known as the White Bird of Paradise or Wild Banana, the Strelitzia Nicolai is a tropical plant that has grown popular as a houseplant in the last couple of decades. It stands out with its large banana-like leaves and can add a tropical vibe to any landscape or interior design. The White Bird of Paradise rarely flowers indoors and although it has large leaves, its upright growth allows it to fit into tight spaces if needed.

 Grows well in full sun to light shade 

Birds of Paradise enjoy moist (but not soggy) soil, and being allowed to dry out slightly between waterings. Try not to let the soil dry completely through the pot, but also avoid overwatering. Allow the top 2" - 3" of the soil to become dry between waterings, but below that should remain moist.
